Background Checks Coaches and Team Managers


Background Checks are  REQUIRED for coaches and team managers participating in any sport in the Town of East Fishkill.  Follow the information in the link below to register and complete the background check.  The background check will be good for two years. It must be completed by new coaches before the start of any season. (example: If you were checked and approved in 2018 you are good until 2020.)

 IMPORTANT: On the Verified Volunteers Homepage, Create an account under “VOLUNTEERS” (not organizations).
 
Once you create your account and submit your information it will take 5-7 days to process. Check your emails for a letter from Verified Volunteers which will indicate that your background check is complete.
Once you receive the letter stating that you are eligible to coach, bring a copy of the letter to the Recreation Office at 4 Anne Avenue, Mon-Fri 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, for a I.D. coaches card.  The card is free of charge.
